Hong Kong Salsa Festival 2008
At Hong Kong Salsa Festival Feb 14-17 2008, Dave and Zoë got to spend a lot of time with Gavin and Sally, great friends from Singapore and wonderfully inventive performers. Dave and Zoë performed 2 shows, and taught 4 workshops including Afro-Cuban Folkloric Dance. They got a chance to rehearse a little with another acrobatic salsa duo Alex and Kim from San Francisco. But the best was when Javed, one of the assistant organizers of the festival stole away to take Dave and Zoë on a ferry to the best “members only” Indian Restaurant in all of Hong Kong!
